Went into Castlepoint Bournemouth today.Nothing much left.Anyone know about Poole or central Bournemouth?
Poole on saturday had very little indeed, some gift sets with a green speaker thing for men (poss ted baker?) and some red and white things, clearance no 7 at back still pretty dear eg £4 up, clearance miscellaneous only a few quid off, lots of posh and expensive body lotions, also lots of Burberry. Boy have they gone downmarket.

However one thing to watch out for: a few left upstairs in the photo section and maybe other branches (not Castlepoint) is a pretty notebook and matching small photo album in a chiffony gift bag, either black with red flowers or pink with pink flowers. Marked £2.50 but go through as bogof, however points for buying album does not work with it. HTH

Does anyone think that the internet shopping could be a slightly fairer system if it limited purchases of an item to three per transaction.
The Ted Baker sets were limited and they stayed on for quite a while.

I totally agree. What does get to me is when op buy up stock just for the sake of getting a bargain and filling their basket, when they later post messages saying that they dont really know why they bought it.:confused: I feel sorry for the people who really did want that item, who could not buy it, especially when it's something for a child.

It has happened to me, and I am sure to a lot of people on here. We all love a bargain, but it's only a bargain, if you get something that you can actually use. :naughty:

I can also see a lot of underlying unhappiness and worry on this thread caused by impulse buying. No I'm not a spoilsport, just someone trying to play the system fairly. Some of the'confessions' make me smile, others make me uncomfortable, some make me angry  There is often enough to go round, as we all have different needs, so we wont all want everying just because it's reduced. Rant over. Thanks for raising this:T :T

My below knee plaster cast has been removed!!!!!!:j :j :j

(following surgery to my foot in NOVEMBER!)

I thought I would get one of those moonboot contraptions with the velcro straps but no ,I was sent home in my sock and the sole that went over my plaster! Fortunately OH took me in the car!!

Its a bit sore and stiff but its good to be free of the stookie!

OH has gone back to work so I am planning which of my Boots/Tescos stash I am going to bung in the bath tonight...............I haven't had a bath for 9 weeks!

Its not the same having a sitting shower with a giant bag over your leg!:rotfl:
    I may be in there quite a while........:D :D:D

dotchas, congrats on having the plaster cast removed - Just in time for the 90%off sale:j By the way, I hope you enjoyed your bath:D

I've had the sylvanian families canal boat, the polly pocket cruise ship and the littlest pet shop display set cancelled! Still got a few other bits coming though so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

Has anyone complained about this and if so was it worth it? i.e. Did you get any points for it?
