They never do notice it Pigpen
They don't notice when you clean up either. It's all thankless.
Washing all dried outside, folded up and put away. Just had a nice hot bath and I'm slouching round in my housecoat thingy.

I'd love a cheesecake aswell, inctead got horrid shop bought sponge under too much icing, yak!
:rotfl: DP just asked me to help build the cross trainer and was told to **** off because everytime I help with something I do it wrong and he shouts at me, he's in a right strop now
Oh and I got him with another one, I refused to take him loo roll, he'd walked past them umpteen times (like others say they don't see what needs doing) so I just said 'no' :rotfl: wonder if he'll take them up with him next time, I leave them at the bottom of the stairs for the next person to take up and I always end up doing it. Maybe I am getting a little fed up of being the only person who lives here too (to the others it's just a hotel!)One day I might be more organised...........

I've more than made up for my inactivity yesterday and am goosed.
I decided at 10 ish to brave the wind and set a half hour timer to do some garden clearing. I managed 2 and a half hours with tea breaks! So pleased I've made a start for the year.
Trip to the tip and bottle bank followed. 2 lots of washing line dried (first this year and it's fab 'cos it'll hardly need ironing). Shower and hairwash before I had a brisk walk to the shop and I'm in for the day now.
Phew. Just some ironing to do after a sit down and something to eat. Those chocolate bikkies are nearly gone; I'm not going to buy anymore, cheap and gorgeous as they were, I have no self discipline.:o
Hugs to you if you're being taken for granted.

Going to bung a victoria sandwich together and empty the WM. Got one line full dried earlier - I never thought putting washing on the line could be a pleasure.

Mind you, it seems most of us do! It has to be a man thing! They don't hear or see anything) unless of course it's something you don't want them to!
Oh well, after 25 and half years, I'm not going to start training another one. That's definitely too much like hard work. He actually listened today when I said when I'm booking my holiday and made a note of it, but he won't be able to book it until March and if someone else gets in first, he can't have the same time.Oh well, I've booked 7th April (my baby's 17th and he's over 6' now) week off, and my friend and her OH are hoping to come down from Scotland! Yay!!! I've not seen her since August 06 when we were up there on holiday. We've been friends since we were 17/18 a very long time ago. Dunblane Hydro every Friday night. And I've booked the last two weeks of August (our anniversary is 20th). This electronic HR department is really good. They email my Team Leader and she just clicks the yes button. Sorted.
Looks like one of the foster puppies might be off to Caerphilly, but I'm not happy about the other one after reading the agreement. Possibly two walks a day -errm, you're retired and both at home, should that read "At least........?" Also, everyone wants the dog. She told me on the phone that her OH thinks they're too old to start again at late 60s. I've told the rescue, because the last two puppies we had, one went somewhere that obviously hadn't thought of everything and ended up being transferred to the sister two weeks later. Poor little thing didn't even have her name decided on during that time.
Oh well, hopefully neither of them will be too long and my house can get back to normal for a while.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
