Afternoon all,
michelle - please take care and dont plan too much for this afternoon
dusty - beautiful poem I have copied it and printed it off and attache dit to the front of a kitchen cupboard to remind me to play with the girls sometimes I think we all get caught up with other things easily so hopefully if I catch site of it, it will remind me to stop everynow and again.
lil_me - hope your DS2 had a good birthday and comes back safely from his quad biking all be it a bit dirty
Weather here is finally dry and I have the first wash load of the year hanging outside, going to do an hours gardening after lunch
I have also found the instructions for using bananas to get rid of verrucas I cant remember who was talking about this last week but if you would like a copy send me a PM0 -
Back from footbal - they won, that doesn't happen often so are very happy. The cycle there and back will count as today's exercise.
Lil_me glad your boy is having fun. I've given up on muddy clothes and just accept it as life now.
Hope that is great news about your Dad (and your Mum). Like you I am good with board games.
Pack up help. I usually do the pack ups in the morning but tomorrow I have to be at work by 8:15 so need to leave at 8:00 and drop DS3 off then too. Silly question but what do I do with sarnies? mine usually have them loose in their lunch boxes. Will the go stale, do I need to wrap them?
Right I need a cuppa and then either Library or new coat for DS2The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Dusty.. lunches we normally make the night before and leave them loose in the lunch boxes overnight they are always fine.
I got up at.. 1:45pm.. hubby had been up ages and I finshed reading my book slobbed in bed I had been awake since about 11am.
We replaced the fuse wire for the upstairs lights.. for the second time in as many days. I remembered I had a wireless mouse and keyboard somewhere.. then miraculously I remembered where I had put them.. I bought 6 about 14 months ago for £4-99 from Amazon.. so I plugged one of those in so I now have a strange new keyboard with tiny little letters on and a twinkly new mouse.. let's see how long it takes for me to lose the wireless mouse lol.. anyway at least I now have a functional spacebar again.
The weekend lists has been neglected because I really can't be bothered.. I have stopped stropping I think but now I am left feeling a bit numb and lifeless.. AF is due next weekend so this is normal anyway.
I just had a bright idea to kick the children outside in the garden and the mud.. half an hour out there to run some energy off looks like doing them good they are getting cabin fever in here.
My new mouse cursor whizzes over the screen really fast compared to my old one... any idea how long the batteries will last in the mouse and keyboard? I've always had pluggy in ones before.
defleaing is on the menu for today and I'll have to chuck the chook in the oven seeing as I wasn't up to put it in the SC. I'll get that done in a second... then put flea shampoo on the girls.
Ebay not doing bad.. 8 things with bids so I have made back my liting fees now.. phew!! Only another 112 needed!! lol.. and 36 things with watchers.. thats a quarter so hopefully they'll do well.. my shelf unit has 16 watchers!!! and my boots have 15.. so I am VERY hopeful they'll sell well.... We can but hope!
Damn.. I have headache AGAIN!!!!!!!
DD4 is whinging and trying to snatch everything off everyone else.. so shes had a dressing down.. that is one thing I cannot afford to stand for!
cuppa anyone?? fellow :coffee: addicts??

Pigpen, I endd up using rechargables in the one we had, they didn't last very long but we are on the computers a lot. Cheap batteries lasted a couple of days. I also kept loosing the mouse, but I decided to test how far away the keyboard worked and typed, from the bathroom, bedroom, outside etc etc. Like a kid with a new toy
DS2 was covered, helped clean his quad and now the boys are playing on the trampoline (after we moved them both) feels weird saying that, weather is so much milder they can go outside for a change, bit chilly but couple of sweaters and they are fine. DP has actually had to open the door in the conservatory because it was too warm....roll on the summer :rotfl: Using the airer in there with the dehumidifier on is getting my washing dry really quickly.
Right I best do tonights list now before I forget, then birthday tea, unsure what 'junk' Ds2 wants yet but don't mind as I am way under budget for the challenge. Got his Scooby Doo cake in a mad dash to Sainsburys, I forgot I'd promised him it when it was DS1s birthday the other week. Oh and some candles as I only had pink ones left......why do they make you buy pink ones aswell?...One day I might be more organised...........

I have 3 outside at the moment Lil_me.. it is so much nicer when I can just stuff them on an extra layer and a jacket and throw them out!! It means the house is tidier too.. or it would be if I got off my @r$e and cleaned it!!
We have duracells in it at the moment.. but I'll put the rechargables on and see how they fare.. our pc is on from about 8am until early hours of the morning!
I am really tired.. again..
chook in then!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Screaming worked. DS1 hoovered the living room without being asked and OH has peeled the pots for tea (again no asking). We cycled to the library so DS3 is recovering on the sofa with a video I had promised we could hire.
Need to get the meat in and pack the 4 items that have been paid for to post in my lunch break tomorrow. What cake shall I make today? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
