Afternoon my lovelies! Well, I've not stopped all morning but have crossed loads off so feel better about achieving something today after yesterday. Got a banging headache and just realised I've been drinking decaff coffee today and yesterday so sure its cos I've not had my tea fix.

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1

    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2

Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    [/STRIKE]
    Level 3
Wipe light switches and banister - did last week, still ok
[STRIKE]Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)[/STRIKE]

    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
Clear one hotspot or spend at least 15 minutes clearing it a bit

Give the inside of the front door a wipe (if it's not pouring down you could do the outside too) - too fiddly, can't be bothered today...

    [STRIKE]
Wipe the leaves of your plants
Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around
Clean windows and sills in these areas
    [/STRIKE]

    I whisked through this speedily,
and then went back to the garage. I have half of the contents outside, and have swept the front bit - ugh, should have had the goggles and mask on! Three items were collected yesterday from freecycle, and I've just listed another seven. I'd quite like to have sold them, but the space has to be there on Friday! Rain forecast again, so I have to get it done fast.

I'd have done a lot more, but a friend rang, and then I had a coffee, did all the freecycle listing, came on here, and well, you know how it is! And now it's lunchtime. I should have done some gardening, maybe this afternoon.

Knitting going well, I now have half a sock!

Pink fairy - your health is more important than the housework! How about some hotspot decluttering that you can do slowly and get some rest? When I'm convalescent, or the children are, it's just right for sorting out photos, old paperwork, reading through those magazines before they're recycled etc...or even going through a drawer, which can be done sitting down.

(((lilo))) - I really don't know what to say.

    embb - Congratulations!!

bebee - hugs to you and DD.

Okay. off for lunch and then back to that garage! I wish I'd thought to take some before photos. Just imagine your standard garage, with a narrow pathway from front to back, and either side piled above shoulder height with stuff.. At the moment, it's still like that on one side, but the left is now empty and swept halfway back, and the level is about knee high.

    I think this is all doable as I don't work on Tuesdays. I also need to;
    - sort washing out
    - set dishwasher and unload

    - make a lasagne
    - HHP challenge and blow up ball
    - pick up prescription

    - sort out medicine cupboard

    Getting there slowly.

well, DS2 dropped off at nursery, my Mum and Dad's dogs let out a pee, did I mention that they have an exceptionally cute and gorgeous big Husky called Diesel? 5yr old and a true gent!
Tiscali txted me my MAC code so going to call AOL with a few questions about their package, not the one with the free laptop as it costs more than buying a laptop.
So, :coffee: and hotdogs for lunch after the failure that was oxtail soup.

Tia - would it be right to say that you're not keen on oxtail soup? Just a hunch!

I think all soup tastes like vomit (sorry anyone eating lunch right now). I can't stand the consistency and just heave when I try it. Apart from soup i'll eat more or less anything so i'm not finicky, honest!:rotfl:
