342 + voucher working in Cambridge main Boots. Took foundation, hand cream and highlighter to photography counter upstairs and only charged for foundation.

OK today I got another magazine at Boots Woolwich, full of ogreish looking women at counters and no visible reduced no. 7 products, so armed with my magazine (free with my Advantage card of course) I traipsed it to Boots Bugsby Way, Charlton (London SE7). Went to the No. 7 counter, the young woman couldn't have been nicer.

I asked for the cheapest No. 7 product to be able to get the offer, then I asked if she had the self tan wipes. She had, and told me they cost 50p. So I went ahead, but as I was paying, she said:

Why not buy 2, as there is also the 3 for 2 offer?

    I said:

Hang on, in that case I am going to get proper cosmetics!

So I went and got 1 luminous concealer, 1 stay put lipstick and of course the powder. At the till, one item got taken off by virtue of 3 for 2 offer, one item (powder) free with voucher, remaining item cost £12. I said: DONE!

She was very happy to have saved me money, and if you think of it she did a great service for Boots too because I spent £12 instead of 50 pence! I needed the cosmetics anyway, so this was a true WIN-WIN!

I got really excited and went for the other voucher 'buy £5 worth of 17 cosmetics and get 100 points'. So I bought a mascara (which had another offer attached - buy the mascara and get the eyeshadow free) for £4.99 and miraculously she accepted it and gave me the 100 points even if I was 1 penny short!

Wow, result! I desperately needed new make up as I have recently thrown all my ancient stuff away, after reading that if you use makeup that's older than 1 year you can get infections - this was like, 5, 6, 7 years + and more!

I am soooo happy! Thank you for putting this brill offer on!

I wish there were more salesladies like that one!

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Just been in to the Liverpool Street branch of Boots, and the No 7 consultant couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I bought one No 7 product costing £10.50 and then got the highlighter powder free with the voucher an a blusher worth £8.50 free as part of the '3 for 2' offer. Then used the £5 voucher I got with my receipt to get a free pack of Time Delay wipes (normally £3.99). Excellent or what!

I've got a sample of Boots No 7 Perfect and Refine serum (or something to that effect), and it is absolutely amazing and nearly run out....

I wanted to try and buy that this dinnertime and get the powder free but I looked on the website and it's the blardy most expensive thing they sell! £99! I must have expensive taste. (not going to buy it though, obvs)

hi im not an experienced boots shopper but im sure some1 will correct me if im wrong but could u not get 2 of these
The PROTECT AND PERFECT Beauty Serum that is £99 is a years supply. You can get it in a smaller size for £16.75 http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/...tionid=1031594 and the highlighter for £16.75 with the buy2 get1 free offer and the free highlights voucher??? just a thought ;)
