  • Just come back from Boot's in Barnsley. I tried the Dream lash Mascara and getting the illuminating Power + the free gift... Didn't work.

So ended up leaving the free gift she wouldn't even put my 100 point for buying the dream lash from the voucher point or the 250 points for buying a No. 7 product

    So I ended up buying

    Heated Eyelash Curlers £4.99
    Dream Lash Mascara £10.50
    No. 7 Illuminating Powder £0.00
    No.7 Voucher -£5.00

They are just putting the round P&P gift sets out for Mothers day by the automatic door.

Will this work.... Round gift box of P&P the free gift and my No.7 £5 voucher ??

Boots really need to be more consistent in what they're telling their customers! I had a hassle trying to get the powder with eyelash curlers and they sure as hell weren't in any other offer! But because they were "accessories" they wouldn't go through?! (Did in the end but only by standing my ground)

If it works in one store and not in another it just leads me to believe that they're lying in their email complaint responses, and some SA's are just being told to not put the offer through or say that the till won't let them - I find it hard to believe that each store has an entirely different result at the tills!

I Tried the Eyelash Curlers and it wouldn't go through at Barnsley, point blank was she gonna put it through...

Hi folks, can I point you in the direction of the Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 17? There are 68 pages of the best advice from some serious Bootsters. This is not really off subject, cos they will be able to help you get stuff for free.

No magazines in Ipswich Boots, but luckily my Mum hasn't used hers yet and she gave it to me!
  • evry boots store i go into they say there is none left and don't get new stock in until beginning of march!
  • I purchased a lipstick that I use, got my free powder, AND got a voucher for £5 to spend on No7 products! Don't think she meant to do that, so practically ran out of the shop before anyone could stop me!!
  • I had to buy some moisturiser today £18.50. They had free makeup boxes if you spent over £20 so I got the highlights powder. it went through fine, all three items for the £18.50 plus £5 off for next time. Not a bad days work.
Oh and 112 boots points which the kids spent on pop.

In case anyone is interested, I went to Boots to day to shop (vitamins 3 for the price of 2 but with Health membership it was 3 for the price of i, less £1 voucher, plus extra 150 points - but I digress, sorry), and I managed to get hold of one magazine.

I do not need the voucher page and only got the mag for my fellow MSErs. Already sent a few around in the past, willing to post this one to the first who pms me.

    Happy bargain shopping!
