£10 worth of No7 face powder for £1

I was informed by a rather smug s/a that they are no longer stocking the tanning wipes as they have been discontinued. The next cheapest thing was £5.75 so it wasn't that much of a bargin at my store in Ipswich.

i bought expensice foundation the other day and was told did not work with the 3 4 2, would have been nice to have £14 worth of free make up but miserable sa said 'ive tried it and it doesnt work' - liar ! really pleased now that i got 6 powders with 25p wipes now to make up for it. im popular with my female relatives as i shared my joy. someone on the other thread for this took in her 25p a few times to reswipe - genius

The SA at my local Boots tells me that thye've removed all No7 items priced under £5.95 from the shelves, and they will not be going back until after the voucher has expired

Clearance items have now been programmed not to scan with the voucher (SA tried for me with a £4 lipgloss set),,,

i brought a discounted self tanning pack for £3 (want to stop looking like casper) and asked about the powder but they siad not on discounted items, that was the arndale centre.

I've had no problem with sale items. I bought a No.7 eyeshadow reduced to £1 and the voucher for the Illuminating Powder went through fine. When my Mum got one in a different branch of Boots, she got her powder with a No.7 eyeshadow reduced to £4 (funnily enough the same one as I bought for £1 - I think Boots had got wise to this forum by then lol) BUT the SA didn't scan the powder - just gave it her in exchange for the voucher!

Oh one thing I did discover (not sure if been mentioned on this thread already and apologies if it has but I haven't got time to look at the mo) is that if you get a magazine and ask the SA to validate the receipt because you haven't got your Boots card, the magazine goes through the till as free anyway! Useful if you haven't actually got a Boots Card.;)

Even if your store no longer has any No7 tanning wipes, you can still get a good deal with the Highlighter voucher. Pick up two of the Lip/Eye Shimmer Sticks, usually £5.75 each but included in the 3 for 2 No7 deal at the moment. Also pick up a highlighter, have the SA put all 3 items through and present your mag voucher. Pay only £5.75 for all 3 items and get (another) £5 skincare voucher!! Then go back round again and pick up your free item , perhaps adding another magazine to your basket as you go?

I looked for the face power at Meadowhall as soon as neared to the shelf the s/a jumped on me and followed me round the stall getting very twitchy as i neared the wipes at 25p you can't have wipes if you have a discount voucher didn't quite get wreselled to the ground but enough to hand the face powder back.
