Butter spillage

Wonder if anyone has got any tips on how I can get a melted butter stain.mark out of a top. In my greedy state I was having warm bread with butter and it dripped onto my favourite top. I've tried rubbing in some washing up liquid neat prior to washing but it is still there....Any suggestions please

Try rubbing a bit of shampoo onto the stain before washing it again.

Swarfega, though this is better with fresh stains. Don't use hot hot hot water, as this might make it permanent
