My contract phone dilemma

Hi i was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice.
Currently im on orange pay as you go but i want a new contract phone. The problem is i want one of the best phones out at the mo (Motorola V3, Samsung E720, Samsung D500, K750i or S700i) but i only spend an average of about 20 quid a month on topups so i don't want to be paying anymore on line rental (i'm not one to have long conversations on the phone just a quick call or text to ask 'where are you?').
So basically i was hopign to get a package where i would pay 20 pounds a month line rental and get enough free minutes and texts to cover all of my calls and texts so that i would end up paying 20 poudns only for the month.
So i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on some deals goign about for the best phones around (like those mentioned above) at 20pounds line rental and about 100-200free minutes (ideally off and on peak and cross network) and 100 texts?
Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hi
This can be done, but taking a top-end phone on a cheap contract means that you won't get the best value in terms of minutes, texts etc.
Check out E2Save for their cashback deals - you can get some Virgin tariffs for £11.99/month with 200 inclusive minutes with these type of handsets. Note that this involves putting up more money first, and then they give you cashback after 6 or 12 months of the contract. These contracts can also be longer, so read the small print.
Currently IMO the K750i offers the best value - it's the best specced handset and currently has the highest value.0 -
You're in a similar position to me - although I'm currently on a contract it's due to expire and I want to replace it with something which is going to cost me around £15-20 per month.
Have you looked at BT Mobile. A deal similar to the one I got last year is still on (or at least it was at the end of June) whereby you pay £9.99 month for 150 mins + 50 texts. The phone I've seen this deal on (it's on !!!!!!.com which then re-directs you Dial-a-phone) is a Nokia 6230i which looks decent but there may be other phones available. Best check what the terms are though cos Dial-a-phone's 'cashback' deals are not as straightforward as they once were.
Another place I've been looking is on the Vodafone website where their online deals look reasonable i.e. in my price bracket, although the best deals are on 18 month contracts which I would normally steer clear of as I don't like to be tied into a contract for more than 12 months. I think that they will fall within your budget also. They are, of course nowhere near as cheap as some of the deals offered by other online retailers but they're perhaps less risky in that Vodafone will definitely be around to honour your contract!0 -

£15 PM 120 xnet with 30 text
