  • Leaving now.

Flasks and lunch boxes done MSE-style. Twins have stuff to occupy themselves with for the car.

Theaa.com suggests it's 75 miles / 1 hr 49 mins to get there so see you at ten...:rotfl: . If anyone sees a tall, dark, not-handsome man wandering gormlessly about with identical twin seven-year-olds, please come and say "Hello"...

    Bye!

Just want to say thank you to Benbenandme for organising today's meet. I'm only sorry I couldn't stop longer.

We were a small but select band - Andme and delightful little Benben, Yeovilmac and his lovely twins and me and the dog. I enjoyed myself. So did the dog who has now been bathed (I took pity on her and didn't get the hose out, just used a bucket of warm water and some L'Oreal elvive shampoo. She's now fast asleep on my bed.

But, off to do some flying now - Mr T and then get the washing in off the line and put away.

    Thanks once again

I was unable to stay long after you either as I had to go and see my friend who had the accident. She is in a bad way, I've never seen her like it before. Tigz phoned me about half an hour after I left to say they'd just arrived there, hopefully she may have bumped into Yeovilmac but I don't think they'd know what each other looked like :o

I'm still worried about Ephemera ... we did wait for you at the visitor centre, but none of us have your mobile number, so I hope you are okay?? By now you should be in Devon with your caravan !!

  • Oh dear. I didn't see Tigz either. We stayed for another 30/40 minutes after you went and got home about 4.15pm, lucky with traffic on the way back.

It was good to meet you, BBaM, and of course BB himself :D , he's a lovely little boy. Lucky with the weather for February and it's such a lovely place. Thanks a lot for organising it, hopefully there'll be a few more next time....:j

Sorry I didn't make it, my DD was poorly - she still is.. she's got a bug, it's going round nursery as I found out this morning. She's at home with my Mum today but I had a bad night with her so I'm like a zombie today.

We did make it there about 2ish, had a wander around, went to the park and went on the train. DD was sick in the car on the way down, poor thing.
