I'm not a southener, however I am planning a trip down south in the not too distant future, to visit some old friends. I may have to try and time it, so that it coincides with this trip. :D

It would be great to meet some of you guys, as I feel I've gotten to know you quite well in the few short weeks since I joined. :)

  • Thanks for that, BBaM ...... :T

I'm up here in Bristol so a little way to travel. Also Saturday's are normally tricky as we three have season tickets to the football team. However, that particular Saturday, the team are away so I could well make it down.

Been there several times with the older two but only once with the younger ones so might get down for that day.

    Cheers again. :T
  • Moors Valley looks amazing, however it really is quite some distance.

The AA tell me it is 214.2 miles from me

That's a good 4 1/2 hour drive, or about the same on the train!

I'd love to bring my little sister, as I'm sure she'd really enjoy herself, however I dread the though of keeping her occupied on a 4 1/2 hour drive!!!

Need to put a bit of thought into this ;)

Where is Moors Valley Park? Do they have a website?

Would I need to be 'fit' to attend? - Currently fAt but working hard to change the 'A' to an 'I'.

OOhhh.... just clicked on the link, and Bournemouth is do-able for me on a day trip! Don't know how I'd get from Bournemouth to the centre, but with the number of car drivers/people who use public transport, I'm sure it'll be possible! So, provisionally at least, count me in! Hurray!
