they said they werent allowed to give it out. and not once, apart form the very last time i rung was i aggresive. even though I think after nearly 8 weeks of almost daily calls i had a right to be.

it is however available on the net, although which part you need for warmsure part i do no know.

i know nearly all the names at warmsure call centre. and sick of listening to use a hairdryer on teh condensate pipe for 2.5 hrs

im a subcontractor to warmsure .your condensate pipe if installed out side should be in 32mm pipe and reccommend to be lagged in 35mm ,i work for orien ,,they are a national company , so i dont know what part of the country you are from,,ie ,,beds,,,bucks,,gloucstr,,herts,,,northants,,,etc,,,best possible for the condensate pipe to be installed inside the property ,in some cases this isnt possible,,dont know why u waited 2 months tho,,for work to be finished ,,ws are always slow for getting job numbers out ,and always blaming contractors but not there own staff...i thought i would sign up due to seeing all the complaints people written on here ,,,best regards

i coudl write pages of what warmsure and orion should have, and did or didnt do, to be honest i can't be bothered. Or when / if i go for compensation and have to write all the evidence down then i might add it in here. At the moment i am waiting to see the results of the final inspection. specifically to see if the hall radiator is going to be replaced with a bigger one. i did see it reach 17 degrees once though when it was warm outside. was often 14-15 degrees when it cold the last few weeks.

re the condensate pipe it has been replaced again. and for clarification the pipe leaked from a joint 6inches from teh boiler and inside the house. Again is the third time btw. 3 different people. endless pasting weld glue over it by an orion subcontractor didnt work, so a second orion sub contractor replaced the whole things again this time welding it properly it seems as it hasnt leaked

as a subcontractor woudl use 10" stilsons to tighten up rad trv's and locksheilds?

they eventually did last thursday replaced for a 2nd time 8 lockshield valves, so now i finally have no leaks.

just a rad in hall that is too small and a bodge hole in the kitchen roof

the inspector came yesterday i am now waiting to see what is going to happen, not holding my breath.

I have had at least 4 of the guys who came here say, well its free you can;t really moan , or words to that nature

    shessh
who did u have come round,, do u know there names ,may be they had to wait for a job number to come through, the inspector will list all the defaults which have to be done ,,and any issues u may want to be done or repaired,,ive seen worst than that ,ie,massive gapping holes in ceiling were u could poke your head in to ceiling were installers have no care at all ,,did u have a new boiler install then?....hope u get it all fixed ,best regards

what are there names then ,,stilsons are for cast iron pipe work ,they should of used adjustable spanners ,,i use bahco spanners and water pump pliers ,,the reason i use bahco is they dont slip and they are for the pro,s engineers ,,if they use stilsons they will mark the fittings

bigger rad may not solve the problem if temp in room is only 17 degress ,,,is the return pipe work on the radiator hot ?? ie ,,if the flow pipe on rad is 60 degress then the return pipe on rad should be 10% less,,estimated about 10 degress,,,,,or could have sludge in rad ,are u getting cold spots in that rad?? ie,,,hot on top cold on the bottom???????

your condensate pipe may have leaked because it froze up ,then exspanded then leaked in some cases,,,

I am posting on behalf of my Mother and Father who are not the richest of pensioners who need Hot Water and Heating to survive the winters.

Once more they have found themselves without Hot Water and Heating thanks to Warmfront.

We had an "Ideal Icos HE15" boiler fitted in 2007 which was a help at the time, as they couldnt afford a top quality Heating and Water System.

Roughly 1 month after the 2 year warranty ran out in 2009 the boiler began breaking down. We were left without Water and Heating for the winter of 2009 as Warmfront told us they "were unable to send an engineer until the 2nd week of January"

In March 2010 the boiler broke down again after only being "fixed in January". Since March 2010 until present day 27/12/10, Warmfront have had to send out engineers 3 times. Each time costing my parents £240.

We looked into getting insurance cover, but the system we have in place from Warmfront is so unreliable, companies and engineers will not service.

We have just spoke to a Team Leader for Warmfont today 27/12/10 that told us "engineers left the boiler in working order each time" in order to get the system FIXED AGAIN !! we have to pay another £240 call-out.

My parents are elderly and disabled and need the Water and Heating system working in order to get through the cold weather, so we have paid once more.

I dont know how to get money back from Warmfront, but if anyone finds out please please post here !!!

    Thank you
wot boiler do u have ,,,and wot parts did they fit
