i have been taking the acidophilus tablets for a while now they do really work

peterae, i suffer with oral thrush and my symptons are not quite like yours. When I get an attack (due to not removing my plate at night) I use daktarin which clears it up in a couple of days. The worse I get is a very thick white tongue and gums that are peeling and sore.
Gum disease is a different matter altogether (that would explain your receding gums and bad breath) Do you smoke?0
