OR and new bank account

If It was me I wouldn't bother informing the OR. However presuming you still wish too I would think you could make a good case for keeping it. Again if it was me I'd weigh up the likelihood that they would find out (almost non-existent) against potentially losing some of it by letting the OR know.
If your concerned about putting it all in the bank why not get a pre-pay credit card and put some of the money on that (a lot better than hiding it in a shoebox under the bed!).0 -
yes a prepaid credit card sounds a quite discreet way,0

i didnt have the money before i went bankrupt,i kept it all secret from my parents,it wasnt there worry,im not a rich con artist you know,it was offer of help when my parents found out after the event you know how much they worry
I find it so sad, that often people, including me, are unable to tell their family and friends about their situation.
When I have been at my lowest, I still can't tell my family how bad it is. I would sooner be judged by strangers than take any criticism from family or friends.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Yes but at least things can only get better, imagine if we told our parents, they would blow there life savings paying our debts, and how can that be fairgilligansyle wrote: »I find it so sad, that often people, including me, are unable to tell their family and friends about their situation.

Please don't do this. The OR doesn't check accounts opened after going BR unless they're given reason to. Sending such a letter would give them just the reason they need.do you think the os would accept a letter from my mum saying shes`s lent me 2 or 3 grand lol
