Repointing a house - cost?

Hi anybody know the best lime based mortar to use on gable end of house, between roof tiles and verge bricks. Also where I can get some, B&Q or Wickes by me ,these places any good?.
What preparation is best for job?.

PS Is the weather a factor in repointing, temperature wise, or would it be best to wait for warmer weather?.

I am a Bricklayer and I live in London. Through my life I have always known pointing to cost 35m2 and no less!!! as it is very time consuming no matter how fast you can get it done however you can handout discounts if it's a fairly big job. It is important to use a scaffolding while completing pointing work as it's perfectionist work, give the property a good look as well as longer life.
