I'm afraid after being very pleased with them my opinion now couldn't be much worse. They still had these phones in stock yesterday - but despite what I'd been told previously they wouldn't sell them in their "rewards" scheme (despite leaving them on there) because they could get a higher price selling it normally.

the phones are pretty rubbish, so you're not missing much, and i'm staggered that anyone WOULD pay more than a fiver for it (it's £49.99 in argos). in fact, i would go so far as to say it's the worst phone i've ever used. looks nice though.

Oh, I didn't exactly miss out - and have no intention of using them!

oh ok, that sounds intriguing... your earlier post suggested they'd lied to you and you'd missed out as a result. my mistake.

i have no intention of using mine either :)
  • Missed out on the rest... and they did!

I've just had along 'discussion' as they took my money, gave me a delivery date then cancelled the order. They want me to call back tomorrow when sales are open.

I will insist they fulfil the contract but we shall see!

You're on to a loser here. You haven't lost any money, virgin have set things to rights. Nothing more you can do.

They're good as a backup for the car, or a night out etc when you don't mind getting the phone broken/lost with a PAYG sim in it. Keypad isn't too nice, and I'd feel ripped off if I'd spent £20 on it. But for less than £10 unlocked (less any money made selling the BT headset) it does the job.

When you say 'back on', is this a new offer?

I got some of these SIM's a long time ago, am I likely to succeed if I apply again?
