CPW 7600 in stock, can they use a clawback clause

Went to CPW today as they were due new stock of the 7600, on the poster for the 7600 it said they would only take debit or credit cards for payment.
I have read somewhere that they can use a clawback clause if you don't use the 3G sim in the 7600.
If they are not taking cash payments perhaps this is true.
Does anybody Know if this is true before I buy any more.

I doubt it... About 50% of people will unlock it..

and i heard that 3 bought them of nokia dirt cheap cos most of them are that yucky gold colour because they are not that good and nokia are about to release a new one..

i was told originally when i paid cash for the first ones that the reason they allowed only 2 per customer was that there are checks to see how many people own and if you had more than 2 you would be billed the full cost of each phone over the 2 allowed, this is to prevent other phone companys or poeple buying them and selling them loads of the unlocked.

But he did say you could be at the same address but use a different name.

But if only cards are available as payment that knocks that on the head also.

Dunno why ANYONE would want this phone! I had one once - it has NO memory expansion for the MP3 stuff so limited to 28mb and it is very big and ugly.
(a bit like me!)
In my opinion, NOKIA/3 know this and are selling it off before they get rumbled!!

just to clarify this is impossible as you have bought the phone as pay as you go and have signed no contract.

any further charges taken from your card are illegal

hope this would happen so we can all sue ;D
