You agreed to the terms & conditions by clicking (Sorry ticking!) the box, tough! Just look forward to your holidays & don't go through the stress of letter writing, etc....it'll get you nowhere.0

wow some people on this site are really uptight - she should have read the t+c's but thats life, you have to give her credit for trying, id have done the same lol :cool:0

On a recent jet 2 flight I was charged 80 pence for a chunky kit kat.
The following day in my local tescos I realised I had been overcharged as they were only 35 pence.
How should I best go about getting my money back?
Before you say anything, Nothing in the T+Cs mentions chunky kit kats or indeed any form of chocolate.
Should I write to the MD of jet2, Nestle or perhaps both about this.
I am reluctant to phone customer services as at 10 pence per minute the call would have to be concluded in my favour in 4.5 mins or under in order for me not to make further losses and previous posters have suggested that this is unlikely. On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -

Any goods you buy from any retail place do not have a RRP anymore. They can charge what they want, you have to decide whether you want to buy or not.
I do think you are been slightly ridiculous here but ther's nowt so queer as folk!0 -
If you do decide to take action (and I am actually in the it is pointless camp also) be careful about using "it was not on your website" as an excuse - the Murcia and Menorca flights have been advertised as "NEW" for ages, and Jet2 are always crowing about their new routes. I can't believe that they would have passed up the opportunity this time. They will probably just tell you that you never looked at the website (or the T & Cs) properly.
Irritating to be paying so much more for something you can get cheaper, but I would agree with most posters, that this does not fall into the "help, I have mistyped my name and need to change two letters" camp. These cheap airlines want to make their money wherever they can, and that includes forgoing good customer service/premium line numbers/element of flexibility etc....0 -
