wood kitchen and wood floor?

Thanks to all for the advice.
I am now having a rethink and am maybe thinking about cream gloss units, with black granite worktops and a wood floor (light oak probably) - similar dilemma to another thread I have just read!
But, we are soon to be getting a puppy and somebody has told me that dogs can scratch the cream gloss units. Anybody with any knowledge here?
I am currently looking at the Sheraton range - matonella cream I think it's called. Anybody got that one or similar and if so, what have you teamed it up with?
My sister has cream units, black worktops & oak floor.
It looks amazing.
The cream injects a lightness to the black & wood.
I wouldn't have a wood floor & wood units.
You could go for black worktops & shiny black floor tiles (grannite or porcelien) & wood units.
I have cream tiles & walls in an oak kitchen with black worktops.
I'm sorry I didn't go for cream units & black tops.
While you are doing it, have you seen the coloured glass splashbacks instead of tiles, BOY DO THEY LOOK GOOD!!!0 -
We've got wooden cabinets and a lighter wood laminate floor. (We didn't choose it, but I quite like it!). Then the table is wood (another colour of wood) but it all blends well and is quite warm looking and feeling.
This sounds interesting but I really just can't picture it, have you got any pictures?0 -
Thought I'd google it as I wasn't sure the previous member would see my request, I found this

Which I think looks pretty cool, we also want to put some plinth lights in.0
