January Clearance E2Save
Just looking for a new phone and came across the latest offers on E2save
few questions
first one - are clearance phones worth the risk......are they generally, as new or do they come with scratched screens etc?
secondly out of the offers at present, which of the following is the best handset?
sony w200i
samsung d900
samsung d840
nokia 6300
nokia 6080
lg chocolate
overall, am I taking too large a risk with a clearance phone?

if you read the website it says somewhere that they come with 12 months warranty so shouldn't be any more or less risk than a new one... And they have been checked BUT could come with minor cosmetic damage....
Incidentally e2save are doing a Nokia 6080 (old phone) but on a O2 12 month contract with 400 mins and 500 texts, with cashback works out at £2.92 a month!!!!!!

my e2save is running out soon, dunno what the procedure. Last time i checked there were no decent deals for me. They had something like a decent samsung phone with that kind of deal above and with cashback it was ZERO pound. Decent phone aswell. Im gunna give them an email but it might just have been a xmas deal...0

Go through Quidco to get £36.50 back too and make a profit of £1.460 -
Clearance phones form e2save from my experience are usually ok. Some still have the factory screen film on. Sometimes you even get the memory card.0

Hi Guys,
these seem very good deals. Are they similar to price match deals where it is impossible( nearly) to get back your hard earned money or they simple cashback deals which are fairly reliable.
I am quite scared of the price match deals and don't want to touch them.
Thanks

Instalment 4 - You will need to claim 12 months from connection and you have 30 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (This bill must be no older than 28 days when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)
When is the first day you can cancel this contract and still claim the last cash back?
Thanks

These are cashback deals. They are NOT so-called "price-match" deals (I specifically warned about this a day or two ago). If you know EXACTLY what you're doing you'll be fine - but from all I've read over the last two years most think they do, but don't. A glance at the (now many) threads on here about cpw companies will show that - now more than ever. Indeed, I've JUST read a post on another thread from someone (not so "new") who has misunderstood the t&c for these very deals - already and having taken one out).
If you haven't read my little guide you should do:-
