We're considering a Warner hotel for my mum's 60th in May. They might be a bit old for you from what I've heard, I'm thinking they are more for the over 40's (though I could be wrong!).
There is a v nice hotel near Cardiff ... I'll have a Google and update! x
Edit: Quick Google, this is the one! The England football team used to stay here when they played there (not sure if that's a good reference or not?!) x
Personally I think that St davids is way over-rated and too expensive for what it offers - the Hilton or Park Plaza in the centre of Cardiff offer much better VFMGwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0 -
Try www.celtic-manor.com in Newport . As we go past it on the way to the ferry, I often think what if ..............
EDIT...Just had a proper look and they have a stuff for families so perhaps not what you were looking for.0 -
We went Warners at Holme Lacy in January.
We found it excellent. We have been to another one which was equally as good.
Look out for their offers especially this time of year.
We had 3 nights bed, breakfast, evening meal plus 3 nights great entertainment from 3 different comendians for £129 each.
You get a lovely room with ensuite, your own table in the restaurant and you are served by the same waiter/waitress for your stay.
Food, again we couldn't fault it.
You get free use of gym, swimming pool other games like could be archery etc.
It is mainly older people but if it just for the weekend and you are not out to make friends it's very good.0 -
I always look at the room details and if they say can sleep 3 avoid !travelover0

Warners are excellent and have a lot of repeat clients and a good reputation. They are part of the Bourne Leisure Group which also includes Haven & Butlins:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j
