All my 'validated' stuff has gone back to 'tracked' or 'tracked*'.

    Hi ATT,

That shouldn't cause a problem; the important thing is that they're tracked. :)

I suppose it is possible that some merchants pay HUKD as that was the foundling company of the empire and then HUKD pass over funds to the Quidco account if any referals are due from Quidco ??????
Perhaps they will explain what has happened when you have contacted them to explain they have received the payment.

    Hi Silk,

The companies are separate, so that isn't the case. If commission for a transaction has been attributed to HUKD (or to any other marketing channel), then it's because there was residual tracking for the channel attached to the transaction somewhere; either on the member's browser, or by retrieving a previously saved quote on the merchant site, when the original was done via that channel.

Quidco really have gone downhill and the problem is they have no customer service which you can enquire with. You raise a ticket and all you get are bland computer operated responses, even the final "push off your not getting the money" is an unsuccessful, ticket closed reply.

Anyone know of any honest sites which does as it says on the tin ? ...cashback ? that is to the customers pocket and not it's own.

    Hi Happychappy,

I am sorry that you have experienced problems, and I understand your frustration. But tickets & enquiries are looked at and processed by humans, not computers (really!) :)

With respect to transactions and enquiries, if Quidco receives payment from the merchant, it's passed straight on to the member. If some other referrer gets paid the commission, however, then there's nothing for Quidco to pass along, unfortunately.

The problem I have with this organisation is three times I have been "unsuccessful" whatever that means, and there is no way of knowing why, and no interest from Quidco as to why I was "unsuccessful"

Surely the money goes somewhere, I understand Quidco reclaim the money and allegedly pay this into accounts, but clearly this system is open to abuse and suspicion when the only reply you get to a cashback enquiry is you were "Unsuccessful" which leads me to ask so "who was successful" has the money been paid into the wrong account, and if so who should look into that ? I certainly cannot, also if the money wasnt paid, why are Quidco still offering up the merchant with a poor track record, or is losing a little chaff along the wayside acceptable ? is the thought of cashback compainies "Well if we get 80% paid out we can live with that?"

I have received all minor cashbacks of £2 or £3, but the main ones such as car insurance, a computer, LCD tv were all "Unsuccessful" surely the company will say if they have paid out a cashback or not, so why not give the specific reason for the rejection. All the transactions, tracked and were validated and sat there for months, until each one disappeared off the screen and showed unsuccessful, ticket closed. No explanation whatsoever, no enquiry generated by Quidco and no interest from them.

    Hi again Happychappy,

When enquiries are unsuccessful due to duplicate referrers, we're not told who the other referrer is. (I'm not even sure, with Data Protection, that the merchants could tell us - if they did, it could be looked at as them giving your browsing history to a third party.)

However, we know it is frustrating to our members to have enquiries come back unsuccessful with no explanation, and it's frustrating to us as well. We have been working with the merchants to try to get more detailed responses. It is taking time to get this implemented, though.

Thanks Quidco for taking the time to reply.

I'm closing this thread as we have a designated thread for Quidco queries on the Referrers Board.
