  • Yikes, I didn't provide bank details as wanted to save my cashback up somewhere it is more difficult to get my mitts on it. I have about £160 owing all in. Most things have tracked fine but still missing £45 for esure motor insurance.

btw, I noticed that Kelkoo has gone down to 2p but it still tracks at 10p when you click on a link through the valentine section, same with TCB too.

  • Doesn't "ready to send" mean Quidco are ready to send an enquiry to the merchant rather than the merchant is ready to send the money owed to Quidco?

Ready To Send means Quidco are waiting for the affiliate network to collect the enquiry and pass it on to the merchant.

my query has been refused...response i got was

Hi. Thanks for your enquiry. I am sorry to read that your earnings enquiry has been marked unsuccessful. The term "Duplicate" means that competing cookies were found in your transaction and the commission has been awarded to another website. Please ensure you clear cookies before making purchases through Quidco in future. Kind regards, Mark Quidco Member Support Team

the fact that i use firefox and shut down everything delete all cookies and private data etc then restart firefox go straight to quidco and then purchase whatever i'm buying doesn't mean anything.......neither does it seem if the merchant is sureshop

My last "ticket raised" did the same but I recieved a list of possible reasons why the money didnt arrive in my account and more then likely went somewhere else ? It was a choose anyone from ten excuses. Despite cookies cleared etc etc. Someone sure is making some money from these mysterious payments that go walkabouts?

Quidsgone really is a lottery, except the only certainty is you will pay the admin fee each year which suprisingly tracks, validates and gets taken out each year ?

Latest cashback attempt was a car insurance policy taken out through this crowd and paid for online, still running etc, etc, first declined and ticket raised etc, This is typical of Quidco and the pathetic customer service, the pick anyone from ten excuse as to why I didnt get the cashback, but clearly someone has, and I wonder who ? I was first refused the cashback with a bland unsuccessful note and ticket closed, so I raised another as clearly someone is pocketting the money or not telling the truth as to where the cashback went, or if it wasnt paid exactly what was the reason for it not to be paid. I had been appealing this from December, and also copied in the online email confirmation of my policy being taken out?

    Enquiry: XXXXXXXXXX Policy Reference XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Mr XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I have attached part of the confirmation email sent by Churchill on completion of the transaction. The policy was paid for at the time by credit card and is still in force, there were no credit problems, policy problems etc. Dear Mr. XXXXX Thank you for buying your car insurance from Churchill. You will shortly receive your policy documents in the post. Here is a brief summary of the details you gave us online. £xxx.xxp annual premium (inclusive of insurance premium tax where applicable) The premium includes your discount for buying online. Policy start date: 9/12/2007 Car make:XXXXXX 2.0 (01 ON) XXX Cover level: Comprehensive

Admin2008-02-28 18:26:05 Thanks for submitting your enquiry. We're going to hold it on ice for two weeks just to make absolutely sure that it does not track in normally. If it does appear in your normal transaction list while in this status please mark this enquiry "Deleted"! The next status is called "Being Processed" which is when we take your enquiry off ice and review it to make sure you have the right info entered. When this happens we will send you another ticket update message.

You 2008-03-04 18:40:32Why are you waiting again ? the merchant first declined the paayment, I raised a ticket which was then marked off unsuccessful with a list of generic reasons but nothing to say why my cashback was refused as none of the reasons fitted. I was then told in the last message from yourselves to submit another enquiry. I would be grateful if you send it directly to Churchill as quite clearly it will not track or resolve itself until Churchill receive it.

Admin 2008-03-14 07:54:33The status has changed from awaiting processing to being processed.

Admin 2008-03-14 09:53:18Everything is green to go! Your enquiry is queued up and now we are waiting for the merchant or merchant representative to pick up this batch of Quidco member enquiries. Some batches are picked up weekly, others bi-weekly and others monthly so please be patient. However, be assured it will be picked up soon! You're on the way.

Admin 2008-03-14 09:53:18The status has changed from being processed to ready to send.

Admin 2008-03-27 17:06:12Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. This enquiry has been unfortunately been marked 'unsuccessful'. The reason for this could be due to one of the following: (1) The product was returned. (2) The customer failed a credit check. (3) There was a failed payment. (4) It was cancelled by the merchant. (5) It failed to pass the merchant's fraud check. (6) It was not a genuine transaction. (7) It was awarded to a competing cookie from another website. (8) The Cashback had been attributed to a different marketing channel. (9) A special link or voucher code was used. Kind regards, Quidco.

Admin2008-03-27 17:06:12The status has changed from sent to merchant to unsuccessful. The ticket has been closed.

I don't know about anyone else but alarm bells are starting to ring with some of the problems I've had and reading the problems others have had too !!!
It is an interesting thought about where the funds go that are not passed on and to give a variety of reasons as to why it might not have been paid rather than "the specific reason" is not acceptable in anyones book !!!
Earlier this month I raised 2 enquiries for Tesco for 2 transactions that did not track. Both transactions were in my history but hadn't tracked I provided full details with invoice numbers etc etc and the process started.
The status changed to insufficient info. and they asked for my email address for the transactions which I passed to them.
Then both enquiries were closed by Quidco due to enquiries for less than £1 not being supported ??????
The problems with this are both transactions together would be over £1 !
Why did they not say about the £1 limit at the start before using it as the excuse at the end of the enquiries !
How many hundreds of people are unable to raise enquiries because of the single transaction limit ?
I would agree that the economics of spending time to chase a non payment for less than a £1 on an individual basis would not be viable, but collectively it is. Lets say 100 people a day are missing a £1 that would make it £32,000 a year that is outstanding surely that needs collecting ?
It's not just about the money

All of my larger pay outs are in question, I have done bet fair, E-on, AOL and ink factory in the last 2 weeks and no sign of anything, when I raised a query for each transaction I had the reply to wait for 2 weeks to see if it tracks naturally. Yeah right!

im awaiting betfair too, looks like a lot of people are, what i cant understand is you have to pay your ten pounds or more straight into betfair,so why not, get the offer that theyre advertising straightwataway after all there quick enough to take money off you,it really doesnt bode well when theres so many complaints about one company if theyre not paying out then they shouldnt keep advertising.
    It`s getting to the point
