    with the bad experience i have had with 2 wireless modem/routers..... a long story... but basically i have now got a full refund.....

    I still want a wireless router prefereably with a modem, but i would also like to share my printer between desktop, kids and my laptop

    does any one have any recommendations, budget isnt too good, but sub £90 would be manageable

    I have a dsl modem (from bt), with usb connection, my hp printer also has a usb connection

    Lots of people have already recommended the Netgear router and i agree it's excellent i have one myself.

    One point to remember though is that it does not contain a print server so your PC will need to be switched on for others to access the printer attached to it.

    If that's ok then go for the Netgear otherwise consider something else with a print server built in like this;

    The down side is its horribly expensive so i would go for a plug in print server that attaches to the Netgear.

    thanks..

    i have opted for a netgear

    the printer is attached to a usb hub, so i can still access it by attaching my laptop to it as when..... until the next home network upgrade.....
