Triker, you don't have an avatar on my PC, otherwise i would :D

Angelflower, I'm already doing the savings thing, I budget within an inch of my monthly paypacket, I've got a loose change pot, AND I'm still spreading the word to people who need to become newbies......but it's not doing it for me :(

It's a touch like the scene in Logan's Run when Michael York realises that although there are people who apparently "win the game of Carousel", there are still no over 30's around.

And that leads him to believe the game of Carousel is a sham.

That's why the DF's are important.

Because we're all a sham?! The sheer temerity, ZTD!!

No, seriously, I never did understand Logan's Run :o

I think actually that sometimes a break can give you a new perspective. The main thing is to know that you are always welcome...

    Well imagine the conversation:

    "And snowballing works?"
"Yes, there are loads of people who became debt-free using it."
    "Like who?"
"Well, they're not really here right now..."
    "Oh. Pretendy people..."

It's hard sometimes to feel we're of any use to the folks here. I'm debt free too, have been for a year now, and as time goes on I feel less and less helpful.

You are a rock pillar of support and advice, and general life/emotional guidance.

So this "I'm not very helpful" just doesn't wash me dear... :naughty:

Please don't leave, you all bring a lot to the board and it's good to know others have made it safely to DF status and that it can be done.

I'm a bit fed up myself at the minute, maybe it's just SAD and we'll all be raring to go come spring.
