Council Property...

Aren't they on the housing list as they are in a council property or do you mean for somewhere new?
Just heard from OH and his dad has been to see a place and has a few weeks to decided. Now I'm confused there is a stair lift in the property so why is he able to move? Surely there are more people in need, though I suppose most want more than a 1 bed flat.0 -
They are not automatically on any council list. If his dad takes the new place they will be homeless. He has perhaps been on the list for a while or has some priority because of downsizing.
Edit... I mean they will be homeless if they are not joint tenants and if they are not allowed by the council to carry on living there if OH dad moves out. They need to check their situation if they are not sure.Torgwen..........
