Hi,
Could you please cast your eye over my property too. It's been on the maket since september was valued at 120K.We have had an offer of 97,500 and quite a few viewings. Would appriciate any advice. The property is vacant.

It's a bit bare. There's no furniture or plants or anything at all really.0

I love your garden! Althogh I would say that you can't see how steep it is in the photo. While I would want to put it across in a good light, you don't want to mislead. Agree that I would want to see what the other rooms look like. Can't see how anybody who has the details can miss the steps though!Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early

It is fairly steep, although there is probably 30ft at the top that is flat (you can just make out my daughters 12 foot trampoline at the top on the photo). Its taken a lot of love has that garden. When we moved in almost 12 years ago it was a jungle!
Not sure why our EA hasn't used pics of the other rooms. bathroom is cream tiled with white suite.
And no, dont know how anyone can miss the steps either :rotfl:0 -
Hi, lovely house and garden, apart from what's already been mentioned, could you change the carpet in your living room to a more plain neutral carpet?, it's very 'busy' and could put a lot of people offTotal unsecured debt July 08 - £46, 311.88

Possibly, but its a huge living/dining room so would be quite costly. To be honest I'd rather knock a bit off the price than mess around with it.
Its not that bad in the flesh, honest

the measurements are the same as my current living room and our carpet cost £200 for this and looks fine, you wouldn't have to spend a great deal but if it meant the difference between getting a sale or not isn't a couple of hundred worth it?, just a thought
with you room being that big, that may be exactly what your buyers are thinking too, that it would cost a fortune to recarpet itTotal unsecured debt July 08 - £46, 311.88

£200? flipping heck this one was into 4 figures!! Didnt realise that I could get it done that cheaply actually. Maybe worth considering, thanks!0 -
Pulliptears, caravan on front would definately put me off(sorry!), dont you know a local farmer or land owner who could store it cheaply??
Yummy mummy, it is definately the bareness of the house you could try adding some furniture or flowers etc so it doesnt look quite so sparse, also the garden looks really like it needs some shrubs or planters putting in situ.
Hope this helps0
