  • Work's over-rated anyway. Get up early in the morning. Go out in the cold and rain. Stupid people in suits bossing you around. Damaging your eyes infront of a monitor (MSE has special non eye damaging things about it ;) ). Only getting an hour for lunch. Other peoples p!ss on the toilet seat when you're dying for a dump. Having to share public transport with smelly people. Getting home late and having to cook your own dinner.

    It's all rubbish.

    Be a stay at home MSE'er. :)
  • southernscouser - you are a star aren't you? Would chuck it if I could but what will pay the mortgage. If I was on my own and only had myself to worry about, I'd be fine; But I have a 27 yr old son with Aspergers and I need to put a roof over his head

Scorpio, you are having a time of it arent you? You might actually find this a blessing in disguise as if you go onto benefits fior a short time, you may be entitled to more help and given some leeway with paying debts. I'm no expert on benefits as I am not on them but have a look on the benefits board

Do you use money off coupons? They will definitely reduce your food bill for you and then you'll be able to treat yourself and your son from time
to time with little luxury meals that you wouldn't otherwise have the money for. Pop over to the discount and coupon thread where it's all in there and if you want to know more send me a pm. Once you become a couponer, you will never pay full price for your food again!
  • Thanks again everyone. Will certainly be looking at all the boards mentioned and will be cutting down the food bill drastically. Only entitled to job seekers as far as I know but will check that out too.

    Hi

    Might get Council tax benefit?

When do you finish work? Can you sign up with temp agencies before that happens?
