Made redundant again. Total nightmare and don't know what to do. If i only had me to think about I could sell up and live in a tent but have my 27 yr old Asperegers Son to think about. Sorry if I upset anyone on the death Easy Option thread but think they might be the ones I need help from, they are so experienced with all this and i need help please.

Hi scorpio04. What a terrible start to your year! My OH has been made redundant twice over the past few months so I do sympathise.
Keep posting on these boards and everyone will help you along.0 -
Bless you, thanks for that. I have done that but not sure I've put it in the right place. Do I put it in my signature?Lightbulb moment 28th December 2007

Hiya
Don't worry about upsetting us - we're a resilient lot!
As always_amazed says, do post your SOA (see Help for First Time Posters for a template), and we will see if we can make some suggestions.
Sorry about your job - my hubby has just found out he's losing his job for the 2nd time in 6 months too, so I can sympathise. What are the prospects of you finding a similar job fairly quickly? If not, could you just do any old McJob in the meantime, to bring some money in?
I notice you are doing the 'Live on £4k...' challenge - the principles you will be using in that will help you cope with this little blip too."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I am so sorry about your job! There are worse things to loose so try and think on the bright side.
Have you spoken to the job agencies to let them know you will be looking for a new job? At times like these I always try and do the practical stuff first and when that is all done, then you can fall to pieces. I dont know much about benefits after being made redundant but I am sure someone on the benefits board would know or try looking at www.entitledto.co.uk
Try posting your SOA as we might be able to save you some cash.

After a bit of hunting - Here is the original, you might get a few repeats of what was posted before but you can use this as the basis for an update (if you want to report it and edit it then instead of using quote - highlight the text on screen like you would in Word and then press ctrl+c and paste it into the reply box using ctrl+v then you can edit it - sorry if teaching grandmother to suck eggs)
Alternatively I can bump your old thread up if you want to use that instead as I have managed to locate it.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
