Hi,
I applied for tickets for 9th feb on 28th Jan I got the standard thankyou email but heard nothing since, I really want tickets as its my mums birthday next week so wondered when I am likely to hear so I can let her know.
Thanks
Hannah
By the look of it - they can give you tickets via email even on the day of the performancewhich is a pain in the behind esp if you don't live in London. I was given tickets via my email with a days notice so sent the OH. Now trying to get tickets so I can go. Make sure you check your spam box as well. Good luck and try applying again with Leopard and Bongo (think these were the new codes) check the threads though.
I have a feeling they will be giving tickets all the way up to when they finish.
Good luck with this grezat freebie!!!!0 -
Hey Guys,
Great to see you all here. Im in envy of those that managed to catch the show already and hope it really is as good as you guys say.
By any chance does anyone have tickets for tomorrows matinee?
I promised my 3yr old that I'd take him tomorrow, but the tickets I shoud have mailed to me are for next week.. I've already let him down today which isnt good for a weekend dad. Any help greatly appriceiated!:: No unapproved links in signatures please - MSE Forum Team ::0 -
thank you again to the OP - just got back from 3pm show and it was brilliant! for those with just emails you need to go all the way through the dome along a red carpet thingy and out the other side to the box office inside the tent. there are drinks and snacks but they are very very expensive/small. there are plenty of places to eat inside the arena but no one checked our bags so you could take a packed lunch - plenty of people did. dd11 loved it and I am now officially the best mum in the world - especially as I managed to get her home in time for PrimevalI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080

Two tickets for tomorrow's matinee show have popped through my mailbox today, rather unexpectedly. A bit gutted now because that was my dream day to go and see the show but of course I have seen it now on Thursday already thanks to someone here and I have made other plans for tomorrow now. I have waited for someone to get back to me about the tickets, and, as they haven't yet, I am putting them up here in the hope someone can make it at relatively short notice. The tickets are for Tribune D Row 8A, and they are actual paper tickets. I have never received an email confirmation, therefore I suggest I meet the lucky winner at 1pm tomorrow at the entrance to the O2 buildig (not in front of the tent itself). This way you can go and have a meal before the show and I can go back home. Luckily I don't live that far from the venue. Please PM me.

Great news, you got some :j Enjoy the show, it's great.
Just got back from the show. I thought it was absolutely fantastic - much better than I expected, and probably better than most Cirque De Soleil shows (mainly because it hasn't got any clowns in!)
My one suggestion to those going there with an email confirmation only is arrive early! I got there about 2:55 (for the 3pm show) to find a long and very slow moving queue for those with email confirmations. I eventually got in at around 3:20 and missed the first ten minutes of the show (which luckily had started 10 minutes late). I would recommend arriving at least 20 minutes early. Note that this is only for email confirmations. Those with tickets (or ticketmaster bookings) were able to go straight in.
Also bare in mind that it's a good ten minute walk from the main entrance of the O2 to the Afrika Afrika tent, so I'd arrive a tthe venue at least half an hour before the event.
Thanks a lot to Barbara for the tickets, and the OP for the original info!
gillezps. SPOILER ALERT! Don't read this if you haven't seen the show...
...for those that have, what was your favourite bit? Mine was the unicycle basketball. Maybe not the most skillful section, but really energetic, original and fun!
pps. do spoiler tags work in these forums? If not, would it be a good idea to add them?0
