I just got an email saying I have "won" tickets for tomorrow night!

Does anyone know if ID is needed to collect the tickets?

If the organisers are asking for ID but allowing people to give their tickets to others, I wonder if it would help to send an additional e mail to the person you forward the confirmation to. They could then print out both e mails and take them along.

This could be along the lines of "I have given these tickets to Mr Insertrealnamehere", that way they would have confirmation from the original recipient that the tickets had been gifted and be able to use valid ID.

    Might save some disappointment.

We were not asked for Id, My husband could not make it so he forwarded his confrimation to my sister, they queried that and said because it have been forwarded that they would not accept it, but we explained that the printer at home was not working so we had to forward it to someone els to print it. I had carried my husband's passport just in case. I also said I guess it depends who you see. But they never made a fuss. Bottom line is they want to fill seats.
