I think that that is a really good idea, although I do wonder if there won't still be misunderstandings for other reasons. I know that I have learn from mistakes since I started on here... and been the victim of them too.
I do think that spelling out that brevity does not equal rudeness, because time is limited with so many comps and a life elsewhere, could be useful.
