In need of 2 new contracts

Also, with 3, don't buy any add-ons with contract, buy them later as that way you are only tied in for a month at a time instead of 18 months.
Re keeping number, you'll get a new one initially, which you can later change to your old t-mob no by ringing t-mob and asking for a pac code. You then ring 3 to give them this code.0 -
Thanks Wee Bargin Hunter, how does the refer scheme work, do i have to go instore, or can i do it online? Also re: add -ons i didn't understand what that meant?
Cheers0 -
the refer a friend scheme works online. When you place your order, you enter the phone number (on 3) and when it all goes through theaccounts get credited with £30.
Add-ons are things like web access, data packages and the like.
As for "cool" phones, what's the point of paying more money for something you'll probably never use half the features on, when you can have one to talk, txt, video, etc. for free ?? Unless you're after bragging rights down the pub with your "easily impressed mates" ?? Know what my decision would be every time......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

What is the benefits of my buying my contract online, rather than in the store, other than getting the handset on the day!
How does referrals work in the store etc, also anyone know any promotional codes for three at the mo? And how does this link to quidco, as for referrals you gotta click a link direct to the three website, apparently..
Also and lastly the Mix and Match 300 is due to end this month, do u think it will stay on till next month? Its a 18 month contract as I come to realise, that seems long!!
Thanks, I know I am going on, but I wanna be sure what I am committing to and also get cheapest option poss..(i'm a student..lol)
Cheers

bump....anything0

QT - the advantage of doing it online is that:-
1. you go through quidco and get (I think) around £32.50 (yes it is, just checked) cashback for buying through quidco.
2. The link on the quidco site takes you to 3's site, and the tracking of this quidco "recommendation", once processed (may take a couple of months), earns you the cashback (because 3 pay quidco for referring you and then quidco pay you once 3 have coughed up).
3. Because you are still buying from 3's website, you can still use the "recommend a friend" scheme and get both acounts credited with £30.
4. So, for a m'n'm 300 purchase, you get your contract, with a new phone, and around £90-odd quid back for you and your friend.
If the tariff is right for you, the fact it's 18 months means stability for an extra half a year without having to change phones/numbers/service providers/etc. All the cashback adds up to 6 month's worth of line rental anyway...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
