Mobile Phone to use on the Blyk network .. Advice needed!

Hi,

I have a Blyk sim but I don't have an unlocked mobile.

I have another mobile which I will retain and use as my main mobile.

Can I just buy an Orange compatible phone from CPW/Argos and just put in my Blyk sim? I have looked online and the Blyk phone offerings seem pretty extortionate ... :mad:

yes any orange will work. This is the way to do i bought a phone from the orange site through a pricing error only cost £28. bargain.
Any questions about BLYK i have bee using it for about 4 months now.

Hi,

I Just reveiced a sim card from blyk and tried it in my old Orange T610 and I get an error saying Insert correct Sim card. I have tried other orange sim cards in the phone and they worked fine. I noticed that the start of the orange sim card numbers were 894412 and the blyk one started with 894480, whether that means it won't work on any orange phone I don't know but I guess this means I have to get the phone unlocked? Do you need the original sim card number to get the unlock code from orange?
