    Got it now, sorry.
You failed PCT & have appealed.
Did u get help with this?

The thing is that to pass you need to 'score' a certain number of points, thats why Im asking.

Unfortunately no I didn't get help. Now I realise I should have, and more to the point I could have gotten help if I had known it was available
Yeah I got 5 out of 10, and I firmly believe it's because I wasn't asked relevant questions... I am horrified that there are other people out there with emotional (I hate using the word "mental") problems out there that are filling in these forms too, and are likely being rejected because of being basically set up to fail

Yes, unfortunatly as you say people are failing because of being basically set up to fail.
Mention this to welfare rights/CAB tomorrow & see if they know a way round it.
Would your GP give you another line with a different diagnosis on it?

He said he would help anyway he could but short of being asked for more info from the council there wasn't much more he could do, I have an appointment next week so I will mention that to him and see what he says.

If your GP does give you another line you can then put in a new claim.

    Hi

If I can be of any help too jsut PM me - my OH works as a decision maker for DLA - he decides if people qualify for benefit - in extreme cases you can get DLA for agoraphobia so is def worth pursuing. Also it's not means tested or anything like that so I don't think it counts towards anything else iswim?
