This sort of thing reminds me of the users who were selling a nintendo wii or playstation 3 etc before christmas, then hiding within the listing *You will receive a picture of everything in this auction, and then charging prices similar to that of the actual console to make buyers think they were receiving the actual thing!0

unfortunately, my wife bought a ballet dress for the little one from this so called Power Seller and guess what? it didn't turn up. So, left negative feedback and I then received an email saying that she had personal problems at the time etc.. I ignored this and she then gave a me a negative feedback which she does to everyone.

Why do ebay let these people trade?0 -
A cynic would say that it is because Ebay earn fees from them...Why do ebay let these people trade?
Ultimately Ebay are just a marketplace that provides a facility for buyers and sellers to trade.
If a previously good seller suddenly goes bad, that is not Ebay’s fault.
In your case, that Ebayer is now NARU.
Ebay really only react to complaints from other users. By then it is usually too late for many.
We all take a risk when we trade on Ebay.0 -

Thanks for the advice, but it happened 2 years ago lol. I think he did go through the dispute route, but got nothing from it, as it was sent recorded, and it stated it was instructions in very small fine print hidden in the listing. So he just had to accet it and move on..., oh wel.. rather him than me! lolI

The same seller I bought from in december. Despite many emails nothing turned up, now waiting for the money from Paypal, buyer protection applied at the time I bought it, hope will be ok. see this thread about it if interested: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=651999
