What to do? Shall I leave university over disgusting treatment
Comments
-
By all means quit university, but I don't think they'd really care, so you're only hurting yourself.
1) Don't leave submission of assignments to the last minute.
2) Check that they've been received, and if not, try again, then as a last resort print and give it to them personally.
3) If you need to sign to say you've attended a lecture, then make sure you sign.
I'd hardly call it disgusting treatment! The fact that the download of your assignments didn't work isn't their fault. I'd say you perhaps need to grow some thicker skin, because if you can't deal with a simple thing like this, you're not gonna cope with post-student life very well!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Well, just in case this guy is legit, go to your students union - it's what they are for!0

Don't leave, you are cutting off your nose to spite your face, in the long term you will regret it, things don't always go your way in life. You will have forgotton about this before you know it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. When I submit uni work, I email the tutor to tell them I have sent it in and then request that they have recieved my email and my work!
Being my first year at Uni, I have never known about the subbmiting of work via emails and such, its a good idea thought when it works!0 -
What submission service do you use? Most of them (Turnitin et al) send you an email receipt as proof of submission... If yours doesn't then you could easily fight it - contact your SU...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200

At my Uni (well the School I am in) we;
Have drop box's to hand a paper copy of the work
A special scrip that archives your work centrally.
The archive copy is used for plagiarisms detection and in the event of a problem (lost coursework) and you no longer have a copy of your work they can retrive it from the archive.
The same system that archives it holds our grades. The senor tutors can check for marking consistency (this is most common with lab work which is marked by post grads on the spot).
We get a email back from the archive to tell us that something has been handed in0 -
Yes, you should definitely leave. Your tutors will no longer be able to enjoy reading (and marking) your brilliant thoughts; your lecturers will no longer be able to gaze at your beautiful and oh-so-memorable face as they deliver their lectures. That will serve them right!
As a half-educated person, you will have access to a range of challenging occupations that few graduates ever get to consider. You might even get to empty your lectuer's rubbish bin, or serve meals for him/her in a restaurant.
That would really make your university sit up and take notice. Such revenge is truly sweet!0 -
No they won't all those jobs are being done by immigrants at less than half the price.:pVoyager2002 wrote: »As a half-educated person, you will have access to a range of challenging occupations that few graduates ever get to consider. I am doing a second degree and I use https://www.submit.ac.uk - you then have proof, same as emailling etc. Where there's a will there's a way, if you think they've not been fair with you keep fighting until you get fair treatment, go higher if you have to!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
