TV Packaging - do I need to keep it?
Comments
-
I deliver TV's to people and my colleague always tells them to keep the box for 10 days in case there are any problems.
We do not need the box if we need to take it away as we're provided with protective coverings. The only reason he doesn't want them is because it's something else to sort out at the end of the day.
But definitely check with M+S as they may have it in there T's and C's.0 -
The most recent thing I had similarly was a laptop that wouldn't "go". When I read the returns instructions, it said "you must ensure you re-package it as well as you possibly can to avoid damage in transit" - to me, this interprets as "ideally use the original box, but anything will do".Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Personally I keep boxes from large electrical items as if you move or have to send it back or whatever then it's easier to use the original box and packaging

If you don't have somewhere out of the way to store it then just cut it up and put it in the recycle bin
Personal preference as always
