weigh yourself on some scales, carrying the bags.

mumhug, is this new my little pony or old? If its old you may need to look into it further as some could be worth £100+ on there own.0

Lol, I help run one of the biggest collectors forums for MLP on the net, and trust me, its silly money.
In their wisdom the company only released certain ponies in certain countries, so you get lots of UK exclusives and variations. this being one:

Lots of money to be made if you know your ponies lol
A few of the newer ones do go for more, but nothing as significant as the originals.0 -
I would not even bother weighing it - simply reply that it is not worth your time and inconvenience to send these.
I speak from experience - I listed 5 huge teddy bears as local collection, the winner was in Peterborough, and pestered me about sending them via Parcelforce, and would pay me for it. I stupidly agreed to this.
They paid me £8 - for a £7.99 courier charge - but i still had to package up the teddys in loads of binliners, then parcelforce refused the collection on the basis of inadequate packaging - a trip to the supermarket to scavenge a huge box, repack the lot, wait in for another collection - it really wasn't worth it. It also seems the buyer thinks that all this effort is only worth 1p over the postal charge - I hope they had the decency to leave me 5 stars for P&P.
I explained all this to the buyer, who never responded except for a simple positive stating "thanks"
Just to cause controversy on here - I left them a neutral. If I list something as collection only in future, it is exactly that. Collect when it is convenient for me.
With all the faffing around with scales and packaging, I' sure you'll realise too why it was offered as collection only.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

Do you happen to have any links on the full UK range... or identifying a pony? I used to have one (was a gift, not the sort of thing my mother approved of) and I'm curious about whether it was anything special.... just in case there's a remote chance it didn't end up at the village jumble sale years ago
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
do the older ones still have my little pony stamped on them or just hasbro? In Perfect love and Perfect Trust.0

Of course Fay! You can try here and identify it yourself:

Or, if you give me an idea of colour, type (Unicorn, standard pony, pegasus) and symbol I can probably tell you off the top of my head anyway.0
