We have received my wife's new (updated) licence now. :j However the start date on it is after the date of the incident, it this going to be a problem?
I really doubt it will be an issue, all they care about is getting your money and giving you 3 points. If they do query the licence (assuming they even notice the date of issue) the DVLA will have record that it is a replacement licence, with updated name & address, i.e. that she was fully licenced at the time of the incident.
Not updating the name/address is such a minor issue they will just ignore it, especially now that you have updated the details.
