Coolbreezes, if Pink and I can travel over so can you ... don't worry about being shy ... I am a very quiet retiring sort as well. And don't worry about the kids either ... I like kids - although DW has me on a diet so I am not sure if I could eat a whole one.

Not that I am one to tell tales or start conflict ... I was travelling back to Glasgow airport the other day and mentioned that I was going to Edinbugh to the taxi driver. He then told me that the only good thing to come out of Edinburgh was the M8. Do any Edinburghians wish to retort?

Well, as an Edinburgher by adoption and a west coast girl by birth, I don't think I can really answer that one :D

  • Edinburghlass would love to come along but my youngest has a club which finishes at 7pm
he is only 9 and has school in the morning so not an option bringing him along. On my own with my two lads but if I can swing a sitter I will come along. Sounds like it could be fun.

Can I put in a request for sunny weather, nothing tropical but temperatures up around the late teens or low twenties would be nice along with lots of sunshine. If you could get a committee together to start a sun dance over the next few days I am sure you can handle this humble and modest request. :D

Sadly Ivan, just this morning I went round and switched on some of the night store heaters (back of beyond here, no gas) as its blinking cold, wet and windy this morning icon11.gif

Having just read about DW's method of packing I would suggest she also tip in the drawer containing all hats, gloves and scarves along with puffa jackets and furry boots cos it could get mighty cold for you in that thong :rotfl:

I hope you all have a happy time over in Edinburgh for the meet. I wish I could come too. Maybe next year if you have one. Hope the weather is great for it, but it won't matter very much if it isn't. Don't forget to take some pictures and post them. I really would like to see Ivan in his thong. :D Might be warmer to wear a kilt over it.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
