Got my phone bill today.
Cost of calls £8.35 thanks to 18866
Benefits -£0.06
Service charge £26.80
VAT £6.14
Total £41.23
Is there a better option, could I get a low user rate, had a quick look at the website, just seems to be the together options.

You use 18866 but still made £8.35 worth of calls on BT?
I'd be mortified if I did that (BT get, at most, 50p-worth of calls from me per quarter).Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -

Al, BT won't allow you to use the Low User rate if you have a) Internet and b) a mobile0 -
Bt get nowt from me other than the service charge. I use 1866 most fo the time during day and Onetel free calls on an evening. Havent had one bill since March from Onetel and only one bill for £5 from 1866. Great. Wish I didnt pay BT anything.
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -

Any advice greatfully received

I tried educating Mrs Hunnymonster - and it doesn't work.... easier to buy the dialler, and it's paid back in 2 months. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
Try this thread too Al, for phoning mobiles at 4p a minute
