Bl**dy typical,
we have to wait all this time and they can't even find a judge who can be there for the start of the "Test Case" !!! What a joke, I wish the OFT had kept their noses out, we would have our cash by now, the interferring busy bodies

Get used to this people ..
this is going to drag on for the next 2 years all because the OFT have stuck there noses in yet again and ruined it for everyone.
They have soon put a stop to people getting there money back while still allowing the banks to do what the hell they like and still charge what they want to anyone they feel fit ..
Yet another example of the everyday folk being trampled to death ...
What an absolute joke ....0 -

Hmm, lets see..
*Originally scheduled for 14th Jan. Thousands of campaigners expected to turn up to demonstrate.
*Delayed at short notice for 2 days, now re-scheduled to 16th. This should stuff things up for many of those who planned to turn up & protest.
*Last minute delay again, re-scheduled until "hopefully by the end of the week"..
This will no doubt ensure that the amount of people who do turn up to protest, when the case does eventually start, is reduced significantly. Of course if only a day's notice is given as to the eventual start of proceedings, very very few will be able to turn up at such short notice.
I'm not suggesting for a second that this might be the reason for all the messing about, that would be cynical & complete distrust of the OFT & the courts.
No, its pure unforeseen circumstance that led to only 11 public being able to attend, and now all those are allocated only to media, and now these delays which served to hinder those who might wish to protest..0 -
tipical. well i guess theres going to be no money untill at least 2010 and thats IF its agreed that they are unfair.

If the OFT hadn't ''stuck there noses in'' we'd still be on first base. Or do you think that would be preferable?
And the OFT did not ''stop people getting their money back''. You might do better directing this criticism to the right regulator.0 -
Ah but this decision doesn't mean to say the banks will continue to get stays granted on the cases, I think they get until May/July in regards to this, and I think there should be someone sitting in the wings to say that if they get another stay then the customers who go overdrawn should receive a stay at the same time, from these alleged illegal charges(still to be proven!)Thanks to all the competition posters.0
