Orbit 2

afternoon all; anyone happen to know owt about the above. I believe it to be a rebranding of the HTC Touchflow.

Dunno whether to wait until 28 Janury to see how much it is going to be on a £35 pcm tariff and also hope that it comes bundled with Co-pilot as the Orbit 1 did or just go for the HTC Tytn II on Orange which I think I can get for about £50 (if the Quidco cashback tracks ok). Doesn't come with any GPS software though I think so will have to fork out for that n'all.

Comments/oppinions welcome and if anyone has had the opportunity to play with the new touchflow is it any good or too fiddly as I'm thinkin the keyboard on the Tytn might be better for txting....

Its the same as the HTC Cruise but a better package. Its showing in the 02 brochure at £199 on 02 20 to £50 on 02 600 inc co pilot on the latter, in store there is £30 trade in.
Nice phone I want one but would load Tom Tom I think you get the software but have to buy the maps which are half price at the mo.

I never understand why the o2 phone, well new ones at least are soo expensive.

I have played with this new o2 and its not bad nothing mind blowing. Interface is similar, WM6 is a better OS than the previous one.

BELOW24, how did you manage to test one out? Was it the o2 version Orbit 2?

Regarding GPS, I thought the O2 version will come preloaded with TomTom

Have been told by some pillock from O2 that they will not be able to tell me anything about the Orbit 2 until it is released on the 28 January, despite some other pillock telling me he had it on his screen and it being available yet when I opened the box it was the Orbit 1.

Read on some techy forum somewhere that the German O2 Orbit 2 will come with Tom Tom software but the British one will be with Co-pilot again. Dunno why, tis just what I have read and until it's released who knows.

not even the gimps that are selling the piggin product seem to know.......
