Hubby has been payandgo for about a year. He now wants a contract phone, either the N95 8gb or possibly an I phone. I realise they're not likely to negotiate for the Iphone, but is it worth him trying the various providers for the N95?

Always worth a try.
But get any special terms in writing before signing up.0 -
Best N95 8GB deals at the minute are from Vodafone or 3 Mobile.
Vodafone reduced the price of the N95 8GB on some tariffs at the weekend. It's now free on a £35 per month 18m contract. 500 mins and 500 texts per month. If you buy online you get 3 months half price so £17.50 per month, or unlimited texts for the life of the contract. And if you also order via https://www.freecontractmobiles.co.uk/handsets/display.asp?hs=n958gb you can get a voucher code for a free Bluetooth headset.
The N95 8GB is also free on 3 Mix & Match 300 18m contract with 300 mins or texts per month. See http://threestore.three.co.uk/DealSummary.aspx?tariffid=672&offerCode=18M300D041&id=1186
iPhone is a nice device but poor value for money and the N95 8GB is probably a better all-rounder being GPS, 3G, much cheaper, etc.0 -
But when you click the link it says £30 a month ellieuk?
I don't think you can get that phone for free on the Mix Match 300
Cheers

You have to take the £15 video add on with the £15 mix and match tariff, therefore making it £30 per month.0
