You would think that all these lotteries could afford their own domains, rather that use gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc, etc !!!! :rolleyes:0

Wow, a truly British company, that can't afford its own domain, doesnt even have a British Yahoo account (.co.jp is Japan!), and spells organisation with a z!
It almost as real as the pigs flying by my window...0 -
Even if you don't fall for the scam, you might well respond to the email. That makes it a valid, live email that they can sell to other spammers - all in the best traditions of marketing!
Don't forget it also labels you as a person whose greed leaves them susceptible to scams (so you'll get a pile of 419's following soon afterwards and probably some trojans/keyloggers).
And what they will really look forward to is the reply of "9) By Bank Transfer" in which case they will ask for your bank details and then .... well, pauper.
That said, I am tempted to set up a hotmail account (so would not have any previous history) and see exactly what junk replying would lead to. I doubt they would care that the email address is not on the list of those who "won".*I reserve the right to have an opinion, the right to change this opinion and the right to be wrong.*Hope that helps. If you reply it's simple evolution at work. The weak, stupid, poor and greedy get swallowed by the big lottery fish. The man without a signature.0

If anyone gets these emails look at the ip address or domain and google whois then the ip/domain address then report to the company that issued the domain, if the company is behind the spam then use wikipedia and search for .com and contact the overall company that deals with the domain like .com or .uk and they will close it.
If it is from a free email service then report directly to them i.e. @live.com is Microsoft so report to them.0 -

In all truth, I've never read a word. But I'll have a look now.
My own epistle was one that all of us here who sell on eBay can easily put together.
Even though my listings exclude despatch to anywhere outside the UK, I'm still bombarded with ASQs fom the most amazingly righteous Reverends, 'onest orphanage directors, and relatives of murdered Ministers.
And of course, they're all true.0
