  • Can someone give me a quick review of this slice the pie challenge please? Including a link to their web site. I know it has probably been well covered somewhere in these 45 pages but I don't have time to read ALL of those posts, great though they are. ( I have read lots - honest)

Have a look at the FAQ pinned on this board, Misspixierocktastic has covered pretty much everything, I think - and the challenge itself is just whatever you want it to be!

Hi there. MISSPIXIE - I just wanted to thank you for all the info on here about slice the pie. I joined a few days ago and had reached three stars (having reviewed 102 tracks) when the scout room closed. I am raring to go when another one opens. I must admit I enjoy listening to the tracks, well, some of them; some of them are dire, aren't they?!

Anyway, it's a lot of fun and I just wanted you to know that I appreciate all the advice and info you have put on this thread for the rest of us!

When I worked out the % thing I realised that I'd been giving far too many 1's and 2's! Once I only put really dire ones down that low my accuracy got better. Still gave out a few 9's though.

    Hi everyone
Just read this on STP - se we're ferocious now:)

All Genres 2 Showcase Artists to be announced this week – the Scouts have been reviewing at such a ferocious rate that the Scout Room will close Monday and the Showcase will open for voting on Wednesday.

I guess we'll get to vote today at least

Thanks for telling us Lililou - was starting to wonder what I was going to do with all the 'free' time - if it carries on I might actually have to do something about my ironing mountain!

Actually STP has really helped me - yes, some great (and many not so great) tracks, and the extra pennies but also its helped me stick to my diet by keeping me busy and occupied. I've actually managed to lose 5lbs since I began

wow that' s great I'm trying to lose weight too and also have lost a bit since Christmas - I'm the lightest I've been in 6 months . I wonder why though as I end up sitting down more when i review? Surely the mental energy needed for reviewing doesn't burn that many calories???
