Oh btw i never got Fridges of Uganda, but searched it, lol. Hilarious, reminds me of scary maze game. Anyone tip Kashmir Red ? Their song 'High times and Orange Juice' is really similar to 'Don't look back in to the sun" you can almost sing along to it.
  • It was very funny i never got it in the scout room thank god i knew about it so searched it too but it still didnt prepare me i was scared out of my skin :-)

Have to agree to 4 to 7 problem. I loathed giving rubbish a 4/10 and there was some stonking stuff that I couldn't afford to give a 9 to. The comments were good but any artist would look at the comments and read....blah, blah, yeah....and think....OK you liked it so much but why only give me a 7 you twit.
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007
  • Thats what they say a lot of the time in the stp forums
someone wrote stp an e-mail and they said they were looking into it I do think the accuracy thing is very silly i mean *sigh* i dont mind my accuracy or where i am in the top scouts list
I'm just happy to keep my 15 p per track and that i get to hear a lot of awesome tracks too

Can I just have a quick woe is me about star ratings again. I have reveiwed 653 tracks and have an accuracy of 84% and am still a 2 star.

I put a lot of effort into my reviews, they are always more than 3/4 lines and I try to give as much detail as possible. However I am using the full 0-10 scale on my reviews so presumably that is why I can't get my accuracy any higher than 84% and so can't rise to 3 stars.

It's a bit unfair really. I don't want to give people a really good review but only rate between 4-7 so my star rating rises, but at the same time I don't want to be stuck on 2 stars and 6p a track forever.
I'm with you on that sparkle. I'm still on 2 stars and I think it has got to be down to the full rating thing as I've done that since I started. Ah well...maybe we'll get there one day :o

Can someone give me a quick review of this slice the pie challenge please? Including a link to their web site. I know it has probably been well covered somewhere in these 45 pages but I don't have time to read ALL of those posts, great though they are. ( I have read lots - honest)

Hey Loumac, pleased to hear you didn't get stung by a garage for a very big bill. Article in the Daily Mail last year claimed people were facing charges of up to £1500 to rectify the damage caused by putting petrol into a diesel car. I never understod why, as when I did it a few years ago in my Xantia I then drove almost 2 miles home and only realised when the engine cut out as I turned into my street. I rang my garage, another 2 miles away and they told me to drive it up if it would start. I had a quarter tank of diesel left when I filled up, and that probably saved my bacon. They drained the tank and filled it with diesel and away I went. No recovery, and no bill, as they kept the petrol that they drained to use in their old van. I only had to pay for the new diesel. Wasn't I lucky?

I think any artist who willingly signs up to a website where people do this for money has to get over the fact that people might not be doing this completley for their love of music...
