Hello all,
I used to use slicethepie, then gave up, however i'm thinking about getting in to it again for some extra £££. Can anybody tell me if you can still only withdraw to paypal? I'd prefer a cheque as i don't like paypal.
Thanks guys

Jason, sorry I have searched this and cant find a resolution, and as our resident expert I was wondering if you could maybe tell me what the census of opinion is.
How the hell do I get 5 stars?
I thought if my spread was good enough to get 4 stars then it would be good enough for 5?
I use 1-9 as my spread, I generally dont rate 0, unless I know its a cover, or clearly its 3 year olds attempting a hit record, and nothing, imho, deserves a 10 (unless its Depeche Mode)
I have had over 92% on several occassions and its beginning to bug me now0 -
I wondered this too Darlo - I know you have to have reviewed over a certain number of tracks (right Jason?!) and as I'm only on 300-odd I realise that's what's stopping me, but I wondered what the magic number is?LBM - 1/12/08 - Debt £13250

I'm over 1100 tracks and have been over the 92% with more tracks reviewed than a couple that have posted here (iirc)0

It must be to do with how the alogarhythm (sorry spelling) works. When I got to five stars I had, about two tracks previously, been over 92%, and was well over 1,100 tracks. Then suddenly with a five, I think it was, or a six, it went to five stars. I think it's even more fussy about the spread when you get there - in the same way that the divide between two and three stars is much less fussy about spread. Does that make sense? There is clearly some magic formula for the past 30 ratings, but only luck will get you there. Just keep a really good spread, and not too many mid-ranges in a row, is all I can suggest.0

I am frustrated by it, but I'm not going to compromise my working practice, I'm not bothering with a spread, and more hoping that the right tracks come out, they generally are enough to keep me at 3/4 stars and sometimes 93%0

Sarah, how many tracks are you at?LBM - 1/12/08 - Debt £13250

How the hell do I get 5 stars?
You know I can't give you a hard and fast answer i'm afraid.
Have you tipped anyone ?
Have you invested ?
Maybe the fact you don't rate 10 is the issue ?
I've only made it to 5 three times, so I can really talk
Nobody has been paid on the site yet which is slightly concerning - requested over £50 on sunday.0 -
