I'm signing in for a bit of scouting tonight.

well finally managed to get back to four stars which is good - got a reasonable spread going on, so hopefully i can keep it for a bit. still on target for money this month as i got the bulk of it before the rate change .. invested a few quid in an artist as well and traded some contracts.0

Sounds good!
I'll hopefully meet this month's target but as at least half of it came before the payment changes, I'll probably have to lower it for February.ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0 -

I cant get to grips with it, its becoming depressing, I cant work out how they think its right to incorporate a spread and use accuracy too, but thats probably because I'm stuck at 2 stars and unable to move from it. I may well end up leaving this for a while before I get depressed.0 -
Well invested my first ever voucher today
not entirely sure how it works, but pre-ordered my contract too
EDIT:
Hey, Jason.....can you tell me how it all works? couldnt find it in the FAQ0 -

oi .. shurrup !
to be honest, all i know about the vouchers is that entitles you to a free digital copy of the artist's album when it's finished, and if it's ever physically released, you get your name on the sleeve as an 'investor'.
then, when it reaches so many sales - i think it's in the ballpark of 10,000 - then you get a cut of future profits based on the size of your investment.
i think the main thing that depressed me about the site in the early days was that i really thought I had a wide ranging taste in music and that i had a pretty good ear for what might be successful and what wouldn't be.
i thought that .. but the site proved that i didn't because things i rated highly hammered my accuracy.
i'm starting to be able to tell the difference more now, but then i still come unstuck - there's an artist there called Gary King who's got a song called "Missing U 2 Long". One of the very best bits of "real" soul music i've heard in a long time - rated it a 9 and lost 1.5% accuracy so go figure0 -

LOL - me tooI was really impressed.
Have given up with accuracy and spreads and just seeing where it takes me, though have had a good run and just hit 4 stars for 1 song again0 -
see i had a feeling someone would start a new slice the pie thread with the opening line "well i didn't see a thread about it so i thought i'd start one!"
Anyway, need to record something for posterity .. not stars though, they're rubbish at the moment ...* Scout rating:
